Anthony Cardinal Okogie retires as Arch Bishop of Lagos, Pope Benedict XVI appoints new Arch Bishop

Arch Bishop of Lagos, Anthony Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie, 76, has retired as the Arch Bishop of Lagos diocese. Pope Benedict the XVI, yesterday appointed the former Bishop of Abeokuta, Bishop Alfred Adewale Martins as the new Arch Bishop of Lagos.
