Update: The ill fated Dana airplane that crashed this afternoon was said to have departed Abuja for Lagos before crashing into residencial houses in Iju/Ishaga area of Lagos state. NCAA has confirmed that there were no survivors.

Surprisingly, the same plane was said to have developed landing gear problem in Uyo some weeks back.

  1. Both have a share in the blame...The government for condoning corruption and greed, and the company for bad practices. What happened to standardisation and compliance? It is high time the International Aviation Authority steps in.
