MBGN 2012, MIss Ayuk Isabella is 30years not 26 as claimed?

A friend e-mailed this story to me but then you know most times things could be rumoured but however, i thought i should post this up because there's no smoke without fire.

There's been serious controversy surrounding her emergence as MBGN 2012. Those people peddling this allegation against her say her right age should be 30 and not 26. Miss Ayuk Isabella is described as a pagent veteran, she's been competing for about 10 years before luck smiled on her.

Photo: 300 level UNN student commits suicide

Onyebuchi Okonkwo a Physics and Astronomy student of University of Nigeria Nsukka was found hung by a rope in the early hours of today. He was said to have left his room around 2am which obviously seemed like he was going to study but that wasn't the case when he was found dead much later.

A note found close to him read "The controversy is over". Onyebuchi was hospitalized sometime last year for one month as a result of a mental illness....

Diddy's son, Justin Combs gets $54k scholarship for maintaining 3.75/4.0 GPA while playing cornerback for football team

Justin Combs, Diddy's (Sean Combs) gets a $54k scholarship from UCLA for maintaining a 3.75 GPA even while playing cornerback for football team. However, state taxpayers are against this, insisting that the award should be given to other kids who need it more.

There representative however stated.....
"There's no denying Diddy can afford to send his son to college. The entertainment mogul was recently named the wealthiest artist in hip hop by Forbes Magazine, so far earning $45 million in 2012."

No going back on renaming UNILAG - Hon Minister of Information

The Federal Government today (May 30th) reacted to the protest from students and staffs of the University of Lagos thereby stating that there was no going back on the decision as the late acclaimed winner of the June 12 election deserved the honour.

Ace broadcaster, Sele Eradiri, dies at 57

Ms Sele Eradiri died on Tuesday at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital LUTH, she was aged 57. According to her former colleague at the NTA, Mrs Anthonia Amosu who confirmed her death to Daily Trust on the same Tuesday, said she died at LUTH after a protracted illness which was diagnosed to be cancer.

Gov of Edo state, Adams Oshiomhole denies impregnating 16yr old undergraduate

Sometime last year, there was a report from "News of the People" A Dockland communication limited and the story stated that the Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomhole was involved with a 16year old girl and also got her pregnant. However, the governor has denied the reports and then sued Dockland Communication to court, asking for an unspecified amount of money as damages for the publication.

Fight broke out on Thursday evening over the passage of a bill that will allow Russian language be used in courts, hospitals and other institutions in the Russian speaking regions of the country.

Fight was between the opposition party who wants to take Ukraine out of Russia's shadow and the lawmakers from the ruling party of president Viktor Yanukovych whose support is to the Ukraine's Russian - speaking east. However, one Mykola Petruk  a member of the house suffered a heavy blow injury.....lol(His pic is after the cut)

According to reports, Didier Drogba will be leaving London club, Chelsea in search of a higher and huge pay overseas. France football stated that, he announced to his team mates about his departure, a day after leading the team to their first Champions League Cup. The arrested suspect has claimed that explosives and ammunition belonged to his brother Aliyu Clement, a formal corporal in the Mobile Police Unit of the Nigerian Police Force. He hails from Nasarawa state. He was arrested on entrance into the Radio house which was the venue for the Ministerial briefing.

The police has said that a suspected terrorist was caught today at the proposed venue for the ministerial conference in Abuja.

 The person was identified as one " John Akpabu". It was reported that the alleged terrorist came to a radio house fully loaded with grenades and rounds of ammunition. The radio house was supposed to play host to three(3) Federal Ministers who were scheduled to present their achievement in office.

Suspected ThisDay bomber's wife arrested

A suspected boko haram residence came down in rumbles on saturday. However, the last occupant is a woman named Hauwa Mohammed who is said to be the widow of the suspected thisday bomber that bombed the thisday office in Abuja last month. Five other women believed to be wives of boko haram operatives, were arrested.
