Photogist: Customs Releases Seized Helicopters To Nigeria Airforce

The Nigeria Customs Service of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Command (MMIA), which seized two Civil Models 412 EP of Bell Helicopters and 23 packages containing various accessories, worth over 9M naira have handed them over to the Nigerian Airforce.

The Comptroller- General, Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (Rtd), who was represented  by the deputy- comptroller general in-charge of Enforcement, Inspection and Investigation, DCG Dan Ugo made the presentation while commending the Officers and Men of MMIA for this great feat in the history of Customs.

The helicopters were said to be seized for contravening Customs laws.

The items were accepted by Air Commodore Hyacinth Eze on behalf of the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubarka.
