Photogist: Outrage In Igando As Man Kills Driver Over N30
The trader's son was reported to have sold noodles worth N230 to a Lekan Adeleke, a driver, who promised to balance the boy with N30 thereby paying just N200.
This did not sit well with the boy's father Ibrahim Adamu who after sighting Lekan, chased him with a spiked plank and hit him with it while he was trying to escape.
Lekan became unconscious and Adamu tried to revive him by pouring water on him but took to his heels when a mob approached his store, he was later nabbed but was rescued by the police.
Friends of Lekan and residents of Igando have taken to the street to protest the killing and have driven away hausa traders in the area.
